* Notes about these prices:
- They are not based on catalogue values but on current dealer and auction listings. The reason for this is that catalogues tend to over-value stamps.
- They are average prices. The actual value of your stamp may be slightly above or below the listed value, depending on the overall condition of your stamp. Use these prices as a guide to determine the approximate value of your stamps.

Our flag appears on several 39-cent definitives, replacing the Parliament Buildings theme of previous years. Sheets of 100 stamps and packs of 10 and 25 feature the flag against a blue, cloudy sky; a one-colour variation appears on the roll stamp and stams showng the flag against different coloured backgrounds appear in the vending booklet. The new "Quick Sticks" self-adhesive flag stamp depicts the flag flying against a typical western Canadian prairie background; it's available only in packs of 12 stamps. Toronto designers Gottschalk + Ash International created all of these flag designs. This firm designed last year's "Quick Sticks" Stamp Pack as well as numerous other Canadian stamps.
Designed by Katalin Kovats. Designed by Stuart Bradley Ash.
