* Notes about these prices:
- They are not based on catalogue values but on current dealer and auction listings. The reason for this is that catalogues tend to over-value stamps.
- They are average prices. The actual value of your stamp may be slightly above or below the listed value, depending on the overall condition of your stamp. Use these prices as a guide to determine the approximate value of your stamps.

The second in the series of Canadian Heritage Rivers stamps was issued on April 22, illustrating five of this country's famous waterways of industry and commerce. Similar to last year's format, the stamps were issued in a Stamp Pack of 10. Canada is famous worldwide for its natural resource industries, fisheries, logging, agriculture, hydro-electric power, recreation and tourism. Though only 55 kilometres in length and seldom more than two kilometres wide, the mighty Niagara River has for decades been the source of power for much of central Canada and the northeastern United States. Tourists from around the world come to view the spectacular Falls as the river descends through a breathtaking gorge. For years the Canadian city if Niagara Falls has been rightly dubbed the honeymoon capital of the world.
