Since their introduction in 1989, self-adhesive "Quick Sticks" stamps have proven extremely popular. Utilizing the basic Flag design, these special stamps have portrayed backgrounds of a forest, prairie scene and seacoast. This year's 42-cent stamp shows the Canadian Flag proudly flying against a mountain background. It was issued on January 28, 1992 in packs of 12 stamps only.
