* Notes about these prices:
- They are not based on catalogue values but on current dealer and auction listings. The reason for this is that catalogues tend to over-value stamps.
- They are average prices. The actual value of your stamp may be slightly above or below the listed value, depending on the overall condition of your stamp. Use these prices as a guide to determine the approximate value of your stamps.

On January 28, 1994, Canada Post Corporation launched the world's first customized self-adhesive (Quick Sticks) stamps. The 10-stamp booklet contains two different Quick Sticks stamps. The stamp designs are formed around a blank white circle about the size of a 10¢ coin. They can be used by themselves, or in combination with any one of the seven different greetings stickers included in the booklet. The greeting stickers, or central inserts highlight special occasions. The available combinations of stamps and stickers allow the mailer to indicate extra thought and care. The recipient will no doubt appreciate that little extra upon viewing the envelope, even before it has been opened. These stamps replace the scenic Maple Leaf designs of Quick Sticks stamps issued previously. Greeting Stamps have become all the rage in recent years. Britain and the USA were among the first; the United States has issued a series of "Love" stamps since the mid-1980s and Britain has issued annual greetings featuring "cupids" and "teddy bears" since 1989.
