* Notes about these prices:
- They are not based on catalogue values but on current dealer and auction listings. The reason for this is that catalogues tend to over-value stamps.
- They are average prices. The actual value of your stamp may be slightly above or below the listed value, depending on the overall condition of your stamp. Use these prices as a guide to determine the approximate value of your stamps.

To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of golf in Canada, five new stamps will be issued on June 6, 1995. This year marks the centennial of both the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) and the Canadian Amateur Championship. The five different stamp designs in the 10-stamp booklet feature some of Canada's oldest and most prestigious golf courses, as well as Canadians who have made significant contributions to the game. The Victoria Golf Club is the oldest surviving golf club west of Ontario. Laid out in 1893, the club located at Oak Bay was expanded by 1895 to 18 holes - the first of this size in Canada. The course was on 190 acres of rough grassland leased from the Pemberton family and golf was halted in the summer for grazing.
