On June 1, 2004, Canada Post added a new product - Write me ... Ring me greeting cards - to more than 1,750 corporate and dealer retail outlets across the country. What makes this product a unique premium gift card is that the greeting card includes two domestic postage stamps, and a prepaid long distance calling card. The calling card allows for 15 minutes talk time anywhere in Canada and to anywhere in the United States. This gives the receiver the means to connect back with the sender.
Offered in four different formats, these greeting cards are priced at $5.99. These stamps are an extension of Picture Postage - a customized version of own product. They are not considered new stamps and will not be included in our 2004 program, collector packs, or Collections Canada yearbook. Also, they will not be registered with the UPU as new stamp issues.
