* Notes about these prices:
- They are not based on catalogue values but on current dealer and auction listings. The reason for this is that catalogues tend to over-value stamps.
- They are average prices. The actual value of your stamp may be slightly above or below the listed value, depending on the overall condition of your stamp. Use these prices as a guide to determine the approximate value of your stamps.

This international-rate stamp features a prancing caribou, and is one of three stamps in this year’s annual Christmas Animals issue.
A wonderful, whimsical way to add seasonal cheer to holiday mail, illustrator Christiane Beauregard’s stamp depicts a caribou rampant, with colourful Christmas lights strung between its antlers.
As with all 2017 stamp issues, this stamp includes a reference to Canada's sesquicentennial. In this issue, the words 'Canada 150' have been underprinted on the stamp paper.
STAMP DESIGNER: Helene L'Hereux. STAMP ILLUSTRATOR: Christiane Beauregard.
