The Department issued the 5-cent Migratory Bird Treaty commemorative stamp at Pittsburgh, Pa., on March 16, 1966, in conjunction with the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference.
This stamp, designed by Burt E. Pringle of Jacksonville, Fla., commemorates the 50th anniversary of the treaty that protects migratory birds in Canada and the United States.
